What is Novus Ordo?

Novus Ordo which is latin for "New Order" is Australia's premiere Star Wars costuming group, for people who own and proudly wear all types of costumes from the Star Wars universe, ranging from Rebels to Stormtroopers, from Jedi to the evil Sith, Bounty Hunters, and Citizens of the Old Republic and the New Empire.

We participate in all sorts of activities, including but not limited to attending Volunteer Charity and Fund Raising Events and 'trooping' at Conventions.

What do I need to Join?

To join Novus Ordo all you need to do is go to the forums, register and post your hello message introducing yourself. The members of Novus Ordo will be more than willing to help you with any questions you have about trooping and point you in the right directions in regards to your costume / or armour and accessories.

The only requirements Novus Ordo has is that you are 18 years old and have a professional quality costume. Once you have your costume / or armour together and are ready to troop, send your application to the the appropriate Membership Officer.

Then send 2 photos of yourself in costume / or armor. If your costume has a helmet, take one photo with your helmet on, and another with your helmet off and send those photos to the appropriate Membership Officer so that he/she may prepare your photos to be sent to Novus Ordo webmaster for processing to be displayed on the Novus Ordo web site.

We recommend you view the "Photo Tips" section before sending them in, this will help to avoid further delays.
